About me...

Hi, Dr. Wang here with VirtualCare+.   I’m excited to help healthcare consumers like yourself manage their health.  The healthcare market is frustrating due to busy schedules, canceled appointments, insurance issues, and delayed or incomprehensive care.  I grew up in a traditional Chinese family focused on health much more than the disease.  Although I went through the typical Western medicine training (osteopathic), my innate sense of healthcare is not focused solely on medication use but on disease modification with behavioral changes.  A form of functional medicine.  This does not mean I do not recommend medications.  Since I have limited time with my patients, my options are limited.  Regardless of how much physicians rely on supportive services, it’s not the same unless you understand how health and disease work in balance.  The goal is to build a better-informed healthcare consumer base to improve efficiency of our healthcare.  By learning health and disease, you will be better informed and communicate with your providers more efficiently.   Healthcare consumers are navigating through the triad of confusion: health insurance, healthcare organizations (hospitals), and drug companies.
